| Prior
to qualifying as a solicitor Barry was an army officer
in the Defence Forces where he served on tours of duty
with the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces in the Middle
East, Ethiopia & Eritrea and Eastern Europe. Before
coming to Connolly Sullivan Barry practised with William
Fry Solicitors. Barry graduated from UCG with an honours
degree in Law in 1998. He studied in the Michael Smurfit
Graduate School of Business for an MBS in 2000 and qualified
as a solicitor in 2005, he was awarded a Higher Diploma
in Applied Finance Law from the Law Society of Ireland
in 2006. Barry specialises in litigation particularly
employment law, personal injuries, family law and product
liability issues, he appears regularly in court as an
advocate for our clients and has gained considerable
expertise in immigration law.
